Tree Photos
2008-ongoing
In 2008 I acquired my first high-level camera, which I still use: a Fujifilm Finepix S100. On my travels I began to photograph trees, and I continue to do so. These images represent a small selection from an expansive photo archive. Trees first appeared in my work when I constructed a tree house installation in my graduate school studio; works such as The Cherry Tree Project, SCAR and the tree-embroideries of Learning to Draw have followed.
