Atlin Drawings
2003
Using simple materials—coloured markers, a range of black pens, and graphite--these drawings were done during an artist residency on Lake Atlin, located at the northern-most border of BC with the Yukon. Their simplicity reflects the clarity of nature and that place, the sticks and stones collected from that site. The residency was also productive in the planning of my installation work Missing/Las Desaparecidas.
